Now THAT'S Glamping Under The Stars!(1)

When Mayu Iwasaki and Sonny Vrebac went on a dream holiday to Lake Tekapo in New Zealand, the Australian-based couple braved the freezing weather to be able to sleep under the stars.

The pair, who are both in their thirties, discussed how amazing it would be to be able to sleep in a tent where they could see the incredible sky... and that's when their business idea was born.

Now, just a year later, the entrepreneurial duo have launched Australia's first glamping bubble tent experience on a 1,000 acre farm just 200km outside of Sydney.

'When we went to Lake Tekapo I wasn't really that into stargazing but we decided to go up to an observatory and on the way up in the bus they switched the headlights off,' Sonny told Daily Mail Australia.

'When we stepped out it was like someone switched on the heavens, we were both in awe and couldn't believe that something like that could happen.

'There was a meteor shower as well and we had this profound experience. But after the tour we went home and couldn't sleep under the stars so we took blankets out to a pontoon on the lake in freezing weather so we could look at the sky.
